Variable speeds What is the difference between an air cooler and an air conditioner? While an air conditioner uses gas to cool the air and requires regular maintenance, a cooler removes heat from the air by passing it through water-filled sponges. (Some models also have an air disinfection system.) How does it work? The device draws air from its rear with the help of the propeller and forces it to move through water-soaked pads. The damp pads absorb and filter the dust and dirt along with the heat, leaving the air nice and cool. Each cooler, depending on its purpose, consumes a specific amount of water per hour and comes with a tank of the corresponding volume. On particularly hot days, you can add ice cubes to the water for particularly cool results.
